YOUNG ENGINEERS PROGRAM(YEP)
In line with our expansion, there is a critical need to ensure sufficient human capital to support our business. OYLM has thus invested in human resources development, and the Young Engineer Program (YEP) is one of our many such initiatives.

Objectives

To develop a pool of competent engineers who can assume leadership positions in research, operations, sales and marketing through the Group’s career development program.


Qualities

Engineers who wish to be part of this challenging program should meet the following criteria:

  • A bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechotronics from a reputable university
  • Fluent in English
  • Mobile and willing to travel
  • Fresh University Graduates

  • Overseas Exchange Program in Japan, USA, Europe, China, Malaysia, Thailand, etc
  • Overseas posting in different countries for a few years
  • Exposure to latest R&D technology
  • Promotion globally and lateral transfer across the OYL Group of companies
  • Participation in various leadership training programs.


  • Training

    All YEP participants undergo a systematic and comprehensive training comprising classroom and on-the-job training during their first six months. For instance, product training, fundamentals of air-conditioning and components training, “Life as an Operator” training, Young Engineer Development Program, effective presentation skills and team building skills.
